One of our young residents sent in their design for a flag for Great Denham :
-The proportion is 3:5, the same of the flag of Bedfordshire
-The blue stripe represents the River Great Ouse
-The green represents the greenery surrounding the river
-The white represents how it’s a peaceful area, it’s also shaped like a wrench to represent the building work.
-The Swan is there because it appears on the sign welcoming you to Great Denham.
What a lovely idea!
